Two-Dimensional Body Paintings

Parisian Artist Kenza Turned Herself into a Stunning 2D Painting

While most people are familiar with some of the amazing designs and effects that can be created with body painting techniques, the project that was created by Kenza, a 22-year-old artist from Paris, is easily one of the most impressive.

Upon first glance, Kenza's project looks like a rather traditional two-dimensional painting, with a female muse standing in what looks to be a plain living room. Upon closer inspection however, it's revealed that Kenza body painted herself to fit into the rest of the artwork -- making use of thick brush strokes on key areas on her body to create different types of shading. These marks are featured all over her body, face, and clothing in order to create an optical illusion that allows her to blend in with her surroundings.
