The Spring 2014 bridal collection by atelier Kenneth Pool is nothing short of glamorous. Designer Amsale Aberra did not shy away from the usual drama and elegance she brings to her collections. The collection of dresses revealed at New York Bridal Fashion Week were grand, but not over the top. Ball gown, drop waist and fit and flare silhouettes were accented by hourglass bodices with figure-flattering draped fabric. The models wore bright red lips, low chignons and streamlined silhouettes in a nod to the glamour of old Hollywood starlets.
Aberra carries this opulent romanticism throughout her collection with sleek silvery satin and delicate beadwork. Full skirted silhouettes will appeal to brides that want to look like a princess, but still be the star on their big day.
