Abstract Homeware Pop-Ups

Kelly Behun's 'A Kook Milieu' Collection Will Be Shown at Barneys

Kelly Behun, an interior designer who's based in New York, partnered with Barneys to feature a pop-up shop within the high-end department store.

Until Halloween, the small collection, which is titled 'A Kook Milieu,' will be shown in a curated setting, which was reportedly inspired by Holly Solomon -- a gallerist who gained prominence during the 1970s and 80s "by championing the Pattern & Decoration Movement" and "blurring the lines between art and design."

Included is a selection of homeware that's both whimsical and modern -- making for artful accents that add a funky flare to interiors. Especially eye-catching are Kelly Behun's vases and planters -- some of which are shaped like Tetris blocks and abstract human heads.
