Musical Wedding Invitations

Kelli Anderson Creates a Working Record-Player Greeting

People often gather the theme of a wedding through its invites, and graphic designer Kelli Anderson has perfected the ability to make personalized invitations that reflect just that. Her latest design was for Karen Michele Sandler and Michael Scott Tarantino. Not only is it an informative piece of paper for invited guests, it also converts into a working record player.

Kelli Anderson made a tone arm by lacing a sliver of paper with a sewing needle, which is set on the record when recipients are ready to play. The record itself is a flexi disc that has been pressed with the couple's song. After spinning the record clockwise by hand, you will hear the music.

I think that Kelli Anderson has certainly outdone herself this time.
