The 'Paper LED Torch Light' by Kazuhiro Yamanaka is Conveniently Thin

Unlike conventionally bulky, heavy and plastic flashlights, the 'Paper LED Torch Light' by Kazuhiro Yamanaka is cutting edge, light and environmentally friendly.

The 'Paper LED Torch Light' is a fresh and contemporary design that simplifies the everyday flashlight into two parts: a piece of stiff paper and an LED battery. The consumer rolls the paper into a cylinder and joins one end into the other through an expertly made slit. Two triggers then alert the LED battery to light up. Likewise, once the paper is unrolled, the switches trigger the LED battery to shut off so battery power is never unnecessarily wasted.

Because of the stiff nature of the paper, a strong, clear and bright illuminating projection is made. And when you're finished using Kazuhiro Yamanaka's neat flashlight you can easily unravel the paper cylinder and store it flat. Photo Credits: designboom, kazuhiroyamanaka
