Japanese photographer Katsuhiko Kimura trained his lens on a Japanese beauty for this exclusive C-Heads editorial.
Kimura had only lovely things to say about his muse: "She can be walking in the streets listening to a sad song and become overwhelmed by sadness[,] wanting to cry. She is the heroine of the song, creating in her mind an original image. She is always lost in her daydreams."
The model's delicate good looks were augmented with the help of an expert beauty team. Hair stylist Yusuke Ukai opted for a short, retro-inspired 'do with loose, fluffy curls, while makeup artist Norikata Noda added a dash of pink blush to emphasize the model's round cheeks and scattered freckles. Stylist Ko-ta Shouki accentuated the retro look with a tight sweater, high-waisted underwear and socks.
