Kathy Pruyn Shoots a Squirrel Playing Piano and Basketball

In a great idea for a photo shoot, retired postwoman Kathy Pruyn sets up interesting scenarios and props in her backyard, and then lures squirrels in (with nuts and peanut butter, of course) to photograph.

Two gray squirrels have been shot playing piano, shooting basketballs, playing pool, pushing a wheelchair, and even singing and pulling a wheelbarrow full of stuffed teddy bears.

Kathy Pruyn lives in Tampa, Florida, and her adorable photos have got me anxiously looking forward to retirement so I can do similarly fun things with animals in my backyard.

"One day I was going through the old toys that needed throwing out and I just thought it would be funny to see the squirrels with them," explained Pruyn. "I thought the idea of seeing what the squirrels might do with the Barbie hand-me-downs, scented with peanut butter, might be kind of interesting."
