Kangaroo Pouch Clocks

The Kangaroo Clock has a Handy Pouch

David Raffoul has designed a Kangaroo clock for Fabrica.

Normally, a clock is not the first thing that comes to mind when you think "Kangaroo." You're probably more likely to picture sandy beaches and surfers with funny accents. However, Raffoul's clock has a pouch much like the kangaroo's marsupium, which is the final stage of postnatal development for baby kangaroos. The pouch the only indication that the clock was modeled after the animal, native to Australia.

The website's description reads, "This clock is a three dimensional image of the pocket of a Kangaroo. It involves an action, which is to leave a secret message inside the pocket. The shape of the piece is conceived with an organic approach that engages the receiver."
