Stationary-Wearing Wooden Birds

This Peacock by Kamina&C is Naked Without Pencil Crayons

This pretty peacock by Kamina&C requires a pack of colorful pencil crayons to complete its look. Creator Takeshi Sawada, in hopes of letting children have more fun while coloring, created this naked bird pencil holder.

The peacock is made of beech wood. It has 13 holes on its back where its colorful feathers -- colored pencils -- are inserted. It is a great example of functional desk toppers that are also aesthetically pleasing. It plays around with the functionality of both items; the colored pencils become necessary to complete a work of art, while the bird itself is home to coloring tools.

Creator Takeshi is known for his humorous and creative approaches to furniture and object designs. He has other animal-resembling furnishings, like his renowned Bambi chair.
