Scrap Felt Seating

The Kamasutra Bench by Malgorzata Pekala

Malgorzata Pekala, a Polish designer who has worked for several furniture brands in Poland, came up with her own limited edition seating named the Kamasutra Bench. Produced from a solid beech frame, the cushioned part of the seat stores consists of various colorful sheets of woolen felt. The bench can also be changed into a nice coffee table.

Felt pieces are often discarded and wasted from regular production, so upcycling them into the Kamasutra Bench makes it an almost sustainable product.

Malgorzata Pekala is also working on other related products, some of which you can see in the gallery.
