Celebrity Home Libraries

Judy Berman Photographs Libraries of the Rich and Famous

For me, Judy Berman has captured one of the stark differences between celebrities and us ordinary folk. In documenting libraries belonging to the rich and famous including Karl Lagerfeld, Diane Keaton and Woody Allen, she inadvertently shows how privileged these individuals are. I could only dream of having a collection like this in my own home. Instead, I'll just have to satisfy myself with my local library.

The photo series also sheds light on the fact that many celebrities do hold a respect for the written word. Kudos to Judy Berman for such an amazing series.
