Puzzling Villain Mosaics

The Joker Rubik's Cube Mosaic is Made Up of Over 300 Cubes

Heath Ledger's Joker can never be replaced in the eyes of many film fans, but he can be recreated in the form of the Joker Rubik's Cube mosaic. David Alvarez is the genius behind this incredibly puzzling work of art.

All puns aside, the Joker Rubik's Cube mosaic is one truly impressive piece of fan art. Alvarez used a total of 336 Rubik's Cubes to create his 4-by-3-foot masterpiece. Perhaps more impressive than the amount of Rubik's Cubes used is the fact that Alvarez twisted them all into shape himself!

Twisting 336 Rubik's Cube into a Joker mosaic is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. David Alvarez has to be commended both for his artistic vision and his extreme patience. Check out the time-lapse video to see Alvarez building his Joker Rubik's Cube mosaic from start to finish.
