If carrying a boombox over the shoulders is too much work and strain on the body, then Joey Andolina will make things easier by having you wear one.
Joey Andolina took a Dainese Gilet Cali Tessuto vest and modified it into a wearable boombox. The speakers themselves are a pair of amplified motorcycle speakers that's been integrated into the vest. If that's not enough, he's also put in an 8" Boss Audio Bass900 subwoofer as well for a bolder sound. The vest is powered by a size 36 10-cell rechargeable battery belt. All volume controls are right by the hip for easy access.
The speaker is an interesting concept that brings a different approach to boomboxes. Wearing one instead of hoisting one over the shoulders seems like a better approach.
