Jim Behrle Sheds a New Light on Betty and Veronica

The Jim Behrle Tumblr website has paired pop culture icons Betty and Veronica, with his own take on the comic scenes.

The strips have one main theme in common: the series involves the use of the Internet. In a mocking tone, Jim Behrle’s cutout speech bubbles take the icons out of context. The results are hysterical.

My personal favorite would have to be a strip of Betty, in which Jim Behrle writes "Epiphany! The most satisfying relationship I’ve ever had is with my computer!" Regardless of if the viewer knows the character or not, the concepts apply to all Internet users and mean girls alike.

Jim Behrle’s take on pop culture is shown throughout his other great work, but by far, the Betty and Veronica strips are the most hysterical and accurate of the bunch.
