AI Presidential Speech Deliveries

AI Was Used to Recreate an Undelivered JFK Speech

55 years ago, President John F. Kennedy was on his way to deliver a speech when he was fatally shot, but with the help of AI, the 22-minute JFK speech has been recreated in the late president's voice and posted online.

The project came to be after Rothco executive creative director Alan Kelly searched for a written copy of the speech and realized that the undelivered speech was still relevant to today. Careproc, a British tech company built a database of over 800 recordings of JFK's spoken words, and paired different sounds together to create words the President hadn't yet said.

The 2,590-word speech has been posted on The Times website.
