Winner of the A'Design Award for Jewelry, the Fountain Ring by Yuki Sugihara is crafted from a 3D-printed wax model that has been cast in precious metal. The precious rings seem somewhat abstractly beautiful when worn, yet reveal a surprise when placed under a stream of running water.
The various jewelry rings will create either a butterfly or a spider using only water that spills overtop of the ring and outward to the top and sides to create a form. This helps to add an unexpected design characteristic that's truly charming to witness.
