Jerome Galland Includes Feathered Animals in Fashion Ad Shoots

French-based photographer Jerome Galland infuses wildlife with closet essentials to create a peculiar effect. This series was featured in an architectural design magazine called AD Magazine. Styled by Nelson Sepulveda, each of these photos capture a feathered creature atop a pile of color-coordinated scarves. The result is confusing, but induces emotion. Though the bird is no cute domestic pet like a puppy or kitten, its soft feathers are well-suited to the pile of soft-looking clothing beneath it.

As if it's about to lay an egg in the pile of clothes, the bird calmly positions itself on top of rolled up scarves. The earth-toned cashmere scarves are accentuated not only as comfortable, but also as organic. Anything touching or placed near wildlife usually contrasts nature greatly, but the clothing and scarves do not seem out of line.
