Feminine Goth Fashion

Jen Kao's Lighter and Brighter Look for Spring '10

Missing from clubwear designer Jen Kao’s spring 2010 RTW collection was the usual feel of badass and hard-edged goth that scene and club kids alike adore her for.

The leather jackets and cut-out detailing Jen Kao is known for were still there, but in muted grays and pastel pinks, the feeling was more feminine and pretty than staunchly party monster.

Of course, one should never stray too far from the roots of what made them successful for fear of alienating their target market, so it was with relief, that we saw that Jen Kao had thrown in the odd chain mail mini-dress for good measure.
