These Photos Fuse Jello Moulds With Elegant Fashion Shots

Los Angeles-based photography duo Juco -- comprising Julia Galdo and Cody Cloud -- have put together a special editorial that consists of surreal jello molds being paired with the hottest vintage fashions of the fall season. The photos are available for viewing in the Nowstalgia issue of PAPERMAG.

The concept came to be when Cloud found a whole bunch of advertisements from between the 1920s and 1970s in which elaborate molds of gelatin were drawn out in fantastic detail. This inspired the duo comprising JUCO to take the intricate and colorful form of jello moulds and apply them to a fashion shoot.

Ultimately, the use of jello moulds gives these fashion shots a wonderfully vibrant and colorful feel. The unique form factor of pieces of jello may not be something that you think would work well in a fashion photography context, but these photos will change your mind in that regard.
