+kouple Designs the JEFFREY Lamp to Dampen Sounds

+kouple designs the JEFFREY Lamp, which is developed to manage acoustics in addition to lighting in a given space. It is designed by Dan Vakhrameyav and he uses PET felt to manage loud noises whilst intentionally adding lighting to create a calm ambiance. The felt is provided by a collaboration alongside Re:Quiet, which is a brand based in Kyiv specializing in creating sound-absorbing materials.

The choice of recycled plastic contributes to the overarching ethos of more sustainable design. CEO of +kouple, KAteryna Vakhrameyeva notes, "We must implement more and more recycled materials into our daily routine usage. In this way, we share the responsibility for improving the environmental situation and reducing the amount of waste on the planet."
