JCB Concept Tractor Mergest Two Vehicles for Improved Efficiency

Construction sites would be a little less like large animal zoos with the introduction of this JCB concept. Designer Aaron Montford married together the frequently used utilities of the backhoe and the telescopic lift so that two heavy machines can be swapped for a single one.

This hybrid tractor would be ideal for use on location of smaller scale building projects, especially ones that are operated by fewer staff members or have sites too tiny for multiple diggers and cranes to be moving around.

A broad 23-foot shovel at the front integrates a cutting-edge ground-penetrating sonar system to prevent the destruction of cables and pipes. The JCB concept also provides a side-mounted retractable backhoe arm that rotates more than 180 degrees, without requiring the repositioning of the entire vehicle.
