Structured Asian-Inspired Ensembles

The Jason Wu Fall 2012 Collection is Gorgeously Chic

Only six years after releasing his debut collection, Jason Wu has become one of the highlights of New York Fashion Week, and the Jason Wu Fall 2012 collection is no exception.

The 29-year-old designer's latest offering takes audiences back to his Asian roots in the most stunning way. Wu explains to Style.com that his inspiration came when he asked himself "What is Chinese?"

"It's a funny question for a Chinese person to answer," he said. The Taiwanese designer then proceeded to create some of the most elegant evening and sportswear of his entire career. Inspired mostly by military China, the Jason Wu Fall 2012 collection features mostly black and burgundy hues, with regular pops of bright red to liven up the already stunning collection.
