Comeback Exhaustions

Janet Jackson Hospitalized on Tour

Many Janet Jackson fans are disappointed she canceled part of her tour due to illness which brought her to a Montreal hospital.

"A 42-year-old body can't handle what a 22-year-old body can," a source said. "I can tell you that she's definitely tired. It was probably exhaustion. She is doing back-to-back, three-hour shows, and her body isn't the same as it used to be."

Although its her first tour in seven years, from an aesthetic perspective, she could have fooled me. Those that have had a chance to see Janet Jackson in her comeback tour have been blown away by her outstanding performance and rockin' bod.

I think Janet Jackson may be ready for a comeback, but she needs to come back as herself. What she, and many other celebrities seem to miss is that when you 'come back' years later, people expect you to age. If Janet Jackson wants to make a truly strong comeback, she would be smart to capitalize on the embrace of aging celebrity....
