Full-Sized LEGO Houses

'Top Gear' Host James May to Build Home for 'Toy Stories'

‘Top Gear’ co-host James May is a man on a mission; for his latest show ‘James May’s Toy Stories’ he’ll construct (among many other things) a full-sized two-story home built entirely out of LEGO.

‘James May’s Toy Stories’ is a show based on, well, toys. May aims to honor iconic toys by rebuilding them on a large scale. Think plasticine gardens, super-sized Airfix models and the aforementioned LEGO home.

James May admits that there are some unusual challenges to building a full-sized home out of LEGO. While over 3 million bricks have been delivered to May’s construction site, he’s still working out the kinks of plumbing and electricity using as much LEGO as is possible.
