The Jaguar XE SV Project 8 just made its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The track-focused car is based on Jaguar's smallest sedan, yet the XE SV Project 8 is actually the most powerful car ever built by the company. It packs a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine good for 590 horsepower. It can do 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds and hit a top speed of 220 mph. In addition to getting a horsepower boost the Jaguar XE SV Project 8 also has a redone body designed to be lighter and more aerodynamic.
The sporty sedan comes in two interior configurations. One that mimics a normal four-door and another that strips out the rear seats in favor of a roll cage and adds a four-point safety harness to the front seats. Only 300 versions of the Jaguar XE SV Project 8 will be made and each one will cost $192,000.
