The Updated Jaguar Mark 2 Brings a Classic Car Into the 21st Century

The Jaguar Mark 2 has without a doubt become one of the most memorable Jaguars of all time ever since its introduction in 1959; now, the venerable old car has received a new lease of life thanks to a collaboration between Jaguar designer Ian Callum and Classic Motor Cars Limited, who have produced a 21st century iteration of the classic Mark 2.

This one-off Jaguar Mark 2 was built for Callum's personal use; it was unveiled by Jaguar test driver Norman Dewis. The vehicle is said to bring together the main features of the original car with updated interior features and 21st century-worthy style and performance tweaks.

The vehicle obviously has more punch than its predecessors, with a 4.3-liter engine hooked up to a five-speed manual gearbox. It has a new independent rear suspension, a bespoke power-assisted rack and a variety of other unique features.
