I love photography that is elegant with an edge, and that's probably why I'm particularly drawn to Jacques Olivar's photography portfolio. A stellar fashion photographer, he has a distinct style that is both glamorous and gritty.
Born in Casablanca, Jacques Olivar headed to flight school to become an airline pilot. Yet photography thankfully won out when he was awarded First Prize by the Club des Directeurs Artistiques for his work on the DIM Stockings ads.
Since then, Jacques Olivar has done work for Comme des garcons, French Connection, Victoria’s Secret, Emporio Armani and more. Having established himself in the fashion industry, he is definitely one to keep your eyes on. I personally can't wait to see what else Jacques Olivar accomplishes.
