Seen here are his various drawings of beloved muppet characters re-imagined into the most notorious horror movie monsters. The juxtaposition of the two invokes a visceral reaction as audiences are unsure whether they should be at ease or feel utterly spooked. You’ll never look at the likes of Elmo, Bert, Ernie, Big Bird and more in the same way once you see them dressed as serial killers like Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees.
Isaac Bidwell drew these mash-up illustrations as a fun warm-up exercise to begin his days. It’s since grown to include nine drawings, all equally as fun as they are semi-frightening.
