Convertible Furniture

The 'SwiTCH Table & Chair'

This compact piece of design ingenuity is called the SwiTCh. It is the revolutionary graduation design concept from Ellen Ectors, who has produced the furniture in conjunction with cutting-edge design corporation Ellesco International.

A student at Sint Lukas in Brussels, Belgium, Ectors' idea of combining a table and chair with a moveable ball seat was selected by the Young Designers' Fair Interior 08 at Kortrijk.

Implications - The SwiTCh table and chair is a great thing to have for people who are short on space in their homes, live in apartments, or even students in dorm rooms. The design is fun, modern and will look good practically anywhere! The seating also looks quite comfortable too.
