Heavy Metal Christmas Sweaters

Middle of Beyond's Iron Maiden Sweater is Perfect for the Holidays

Heavy metal and the holidays aren't often two associative concepts, but apparel company Middle of Beyond has created the 'Iron Maiden Sweater' as an attempt to make Christmas a little more gnarly. Styled like a traditional Christmas sweater, the Iron Maiden Sweater features some of the British heavy metal band's most recognized images and references.

Though the acrylic sweater's abstract patterns look like classic Christmas sweater regalia at first glance (albeit in shades of black and grey,) a closer look reveals them to be far more metal: things like chains, axes, and pitchforks. The sweater has more overt references to Iron Maiden as well, including a picture of the devil and the sorcerer from the cover of 'The Number of the Beast,' a repeating "666" design, and the face from the cover of 'The Book of Souls.'
