An iPhone camera add-on called the LazeeEye is a gadget that attaches to the headphone jack to help create 3D imaging. It turns regular smartphones into 3D cameras within seconds. Created by Heuristic Labs, the LazeeEye is a "portmanteau for laser and eye."
Despite its name that suggests visual impairment, the device actually enhances visuals. With the help of a laser source, a mirror and a spatial modulating element, the LazeeEye allows your phone's camera to use a depth estimation algorithm in order to make stereo images.
Three-dimensional images will be needed more now due to the growth of 3D printing, so this tool is perfect for providing absolute 3D images and measurements. Through its app, it can also remove objects or people that are intrusive from your subject's background.
