Canadian Martin Reisch Uses iPad Passport to Enter the United States

The average traveler would belittle anyone who was bold enough to approach the United States Customs without proper documentation, however, Martin Reisch has managed to not only approach, but also cross over the U.S. border from Canada by merely presenting his iPad passport.

It seems the relatively tight security measures at borders has still left room for some unique adjustability. Reisch realized that he had forgotten his passport nearly two hours into his drive to customs and remembered that he had left a scanned copy of his document on his iPad. Instead of turning around for an extra-long drive, he decided he would take his chances with the iPad passport and if all failed, drive back home. He was met by a skeptic officer who did not seem taken by his story at first, but took the iPad to the border office and returned to let Reisch through with a happy wishes.

It seems a few digital copies and a little thinking on your feet might just save you when your memory fails to!
