Surreal Invisible Man Photography

This Series by Joey Baker Features a Half Invisible Man

These fantastic photography series by artist Joey Baker features a partially invisible man who seems to blend in perfectly with his background. These shots are mostly monochromatic but they are infused with little splashes of color that attract the viewers attention.

Baker manipulates his photos so that his subject appears to be fading off with little more than an outline left to identify him. In one shot he blends into a black and gray wall, but his red tie still pops with color, becoming the focus of the photo. In another shot this mysterious man walks along a graffiti-covered wall. Bits and pieces of the wall (and the half faded man) appear to be blue.

This impressive series adds a surreal element to an already charming set of photos and adds interest by playing around with color and the absence of it.
