Wondrous Woodland Photoshoots

The Vogue Japan Into The Woods Editorial Takes Viewers Into Forests

The Vogue Japan October 2014 Into The Woods editorial takes readers of the high end magazine into the woods. Models Bruna Rosa, Dasha Gold, Katryn Kruger, Pauline Hoarau, Sophie Touchet, Veroniek Gielkens and Zlata Mangafic posed in teams before towering trees and pink petals.

Stylist Giovanna Battaglia dressed the couture crew in ensembles that meshed well with the nomadic motifs at play. Given the outdoor setting, Battaglia opted for warm fur cloaks, long gilded dresses, feathered coats, velvet embellishments and 1940s era pieces.

Despite the ornate apparel, accessories arguably stole the Into The Woods show. Displayed in the images were butterfly-shaped hats, layered feather caps and hanging fur pieces, all of which stood out amid the dark tree lined backdrop.
