This Interchangeable Laptop concept by Tiago Goncalves suggests a new way of assembling electronics which allows the primary components to be detachable, swappable and smart.
The idea begins with the option to remove a MacBook Pro's keyboard so that it can be used at a desk as a wireless peripheral for improved ergonomics. To expand on this notion, the typepad could be packed with the user's own settings and data so that it can be placed within another's notebook shell and virtually become the visitor's computer. Similarly, the portable keyboard could be connected to a monitor to offer the same cyber setup. The Interchangeable Laptop could even accommodate the replacement of an illustrator's tablet in place of a set of keys.
