Curvaceous Insulated Teacups

The 'Gourd Teacup' Has a Functional Design That Strains Leaves Well

Arthur Xin, an experienced product designer, created the 'Gourd Teacup' -- an insulated teacup with a whimsical shape that efficiently strains leaves.

In order to use it, consumers simply fill a compartment placed at the top with their favorite tea leaves and then pour hot water through. Once doing so, they can place a lid over top so that heat doesn't escape while the drink is steeping -- which is also ensured by the double-layered glass that comprise the insulated teacups.

Once consumers feel the tea is steeped to their liking, they can remove the tea hopper with the leaves in it and enjoy. In addition to being aesthetically pleasing, the design of the Gourd Teacup allows the tea hopper to fit in perfectly so that tea is brewed to perfection and no leaves go astray.
