Berlin's Philarmonic Showcases Interior Instrumental Photography

Europe's Berlin Philarmonic offers the best of the orchestra, and apparently, also the best of instrumental photography. In an attempt to promote the group's concerts, the organization has spearheaded a breathtaking poster series. Only this time, they have explored the inner core of their musical tools.

At a glance, the Berlin Philarmonic images appear to be architectural depictions, illustrations of attic-like spaces or perhaps a mystical crawl space. These observations are reinforced by beams of light which appear to be streaming from wood-laden windows. While these inclinations are entirely sensible, they are incorrect.

The ostensible domestic structures are actually a selection of photos taken from the interior of musical instruments. The aim of the instrumental photography project was to make viewers feel close to the music, the very same feeling that audience members experience at the Berlin Philarmonic. Whether or not this feeling has been imparted, the imagery has certainly put a twist on the music industry.
