Infused Maple Syrups

Runamok Maple's Syrup is Useful for More Than Pancakes

While maple syrup is first and foremost associated with pancakes and waffles, Runamok Maple's infused maple syrup products have applications that go well beyond breakfast.

Infusions include flavors like Cinnamon + Vanilla, Cardamom, Elderberry, as well as barrel-aged Rum, Rye and Bourbon. These products are packaged in upscale glass bottles that resemble high-end liquor. As such, Runamok co-owner Eric Sorkin notes: "This is really not aimed at pancakes." While these syrups can certainly be used on pancakes, they're even better suited to dressing vegetables, meats and desserts.

This year, the maple syrup industry has been fortunate enough to experience bountiful record-setting harvests. As such, this is being reflected in the food and beverage industry with products that emphasize this syrup as a healthy alternative to many unnatural sweeteners on the market.
