Ultra-Luxurious In-Flight Services

Cathay Pacific Will Offer Travelers Six Gourmet Meal Options

Starting July 30th, Cathay Pacific will upgrade its in-flight service. Those traveling long distances in business class will have the opportunity to enjoy a more personalized experience. The airline will offer its customer a choice of six gourmet meals — from Hong Kong char siu pork with egg noodles to wok-fired seafood lobster soup. The dishes will be separately prepared by trained staff, will have better presentation and be served on custom-made plates.

The definite upgrade for the in-flight service is the result of numerous customer surveys, conducted by Cathay Pacific during 2017. The questionnaires revealed that travelers long for "improved food quality, presentation, greater choice and more personalization" for their food. Therefore, the airline is testing an in-flight service that is designed to satisfy those needs.
