Infinity by Mikko Lagerstedt Captures the Mysteriousness of the Earth

The photo series titled Infinity by Mikko Lagerstedt, a photographer based in Finland, takes a mystical look at misty landscapes. Unlike the Boguslaw Strempel's recent work also involving fog, this series stays a little closer to the ground. Also, there is a much more eerie and mysterious quality to these photos than the one's featured in Strempel's portfolio.

Similar to the photographer's past work including Edge and Atmospheric, Infinity by Mikko Lagerstedt dramatizes scenes of nature in a way that inspires imaginations and encourages a new way of looking at the world. Although his work often involves a ominous figure barely discernible in the distance, this series focuses much more heavily on the Earth's innate inscrutability. It was shot both during the day and night.
