The BaseCamp Hostel Bonn takes indoor camping to the next level. The Fake campground uses RVs, trailers and other camping caravans as rooms. The German hostel is housed inside an old storage facility and has rates from $32 to just over $100 a night. While geared towards a younger crowd, the hostel could provide a fun experience for a young family who loves camping. It also allows one to camp throughout the colder autumn and winter months.
The hostel has 120 beds across 15 caravans, two night sleepers and two Airstreams which are arranged in a circle for a more authentic campground experience. Guests are provided with clean linens, breakfast and free WiFi. BaseCamp Hostel Bonn opened in August 2013 and provides a unique indoor camping experience.
