Upcycled Shopping Bag Wallets

IKEA and Mother London Teamed Up to Create the 'IKEA Wallet'

The FRAKTA tote, also known as the "blue bag," is one of the most iconic products from IKEA and now consumers will be able to get their hands on the IKEA Wallet, thanks to a collaboration between the furniture retailer and Mother London.

Over the past few years, luxury fashion houses have taken inspiration from IKEA's blue bags, leading to the creation of much more IKEA-inspired apparel and accessories. While Balenciaga launched a 'Carry Shopper L' that cost over $2,000, IKEA UK is offering the affordable IKEA Wallet for a fraction of the cost—plus, the wallet comes with a pre-loaded Oyster Card that can be used for getting around via London's public transportation system.

The IKEA Wallet is also attractive for its eco-friendly design, as it is created from upcycled straps of genuine FRAKTA bags.
