The Ike and Stella Tables by Nucharin Wangphongsawasd are Intricate

The Ike and Stella Tables are masterpieces of wooden construction. Easily mistaken for sculptures, the natural material has been cut so intricately that the pieces of furniture will bring to mind the form of a couple of leaves. They use tension to maintain their elaborate designs, which is a feat in and of itself.

It might be hard to believe, but the designer behind the Ike and Stella Tables has yet to graduate from school. Currently a graduate student in the Woodworking and Furniture Design program at Rochester Institute of Technology, Nucharin Wangphongsawasd's skill was brought to people's attention through her XYLO Table. Going for a bigger wow factor, she created the Ike and Stella Tables. Made out of ash and walnut wood, the pieces were inspired by repetitions.
