A collaborative effort between Norwegian artist Bjarne Melgaarde and Ms. Fitz, a stylist from Australia, is behind the exhibition Ideal Pole that has show-goers abuzz due to its ferocious feature subjects.
On display at the Ramiken Crucible gallery in New York City, the installation features two white tigers sporting the latest large cat fashion. Ms.Fitz designed an assortment of capes and collars for the beasts in the eccentric and wild style that she is world-renowned for.
Feathers, jewels, dollar bills and teddy pairs were some of the materials of choice for these fashion-forward, yet restrictive, statement pieces that are on display for the duration of the exhibition, but are only seen around the animal's necks during select time periods.
