Verdan Misic's spectacularly intricate icon illustrations are of figures he has been positively influenced by throughout his life and are all drawn using markers.
The artist grew up in a violent environment in Sarajevo, Bosnia where he has his mother had to eventually relocate from in 1994. Inspired by Ghandi's non-violent tactics of peacemaking, the artist started expressing his appreciation and longing for harmony through his artwork.
