The Icarus Oled Lights Illuminate in a Rhythmic Dance

Many people know the tragic myth of Icarus who fell to his death after donning his father's wings of feather and wax because he flew too close to the sun; yet, there is nothing tragic about the Icarus OLED Lights. Instead, it seems to portray the success that Icarus wanted to achieve when flying too close to the sun.

Designed by Sewon Oh, Yonggu Do and Minseon Kim, the Icarus OLED Lights were clearly not modeled after his failure, but after the wings he wore. Each side features seven 'feathers' attached to a metal spine. Interestingly enough, each of these LED feathers can be configured to illuminate in a rhythmic dance, bringing even more whimsy to the home.
