The Hyundai Santa Fe Zombie Survival Machine Keeps Walkers at Bay

Should you ever find yourself in need of some wheels during the zombie apocalypse, you'd better hope that the Hyundai Santa Fe Zombie Survival Machine is around.

This killer SUV (pun intended) was designed by Anson Kuo using the Walking Dead Chop Shop app. The app lets users zombie-proof one of three different Hyundai models. Kuo chose the Santa Fe, and Hyundai in turn chose his design out of 82,500 as the one it will take from concept to reality.

Galpin Auto Sports will be creating the Hyundai Santa Fe Zombie Survival Machine and will debut it at the 2013 New York Comic-Con. The SUV is loaded with ways to both kill zombies and stave off a zombie attack. The sword-lined doors and rooftop turret are especially nice touches. This will be the third Walking Dead Hyundai as the Korean automaker has already tricked out a Veloster and Elantra for the zombie apocalypse.
