Tricky Timepieces

The Hybris Mechanica Watch Isn't Made for Quick Time-Telling

Watch designer Jaeger LeCoultre has created what can only be described as an incredibly complicated watch, and fittingly, it has an extremely complicated name. The Mechanica Hybris Grande Sonnerie is said to perform 26 functions, and for one watch, when all I really want is for it to perform two functions (hour and minute), 26 is a lot!

The Mechanica Hybris Grande Sonneire by Jaeger LeCoultre not only tells time, but has a calendar and three different chime sounds. Added with a whole host of other watch design elements, this is one complex and interesting watch.

Take a look at the watch that is not made for the weak time-teller.
