Brand-Fusing Sneakers

Dead Dilly Imagines a Hybrid Sneaker Collaboration from Adidas and Nike

One artist created a series of concept hybrid sneakers that would see two mega-brands put their egos aside to create a collection of sneakers for the ages.

Developed by Canadian graphic artist 'Dead Dilly,' the project sees artistic renderings of a possible set of Nike and Adidas collaborative sneakers. The set of illustrations was released in ILS Magazine to find out what a collaboration would look by mixing various elements of previous sneakers that each brand has become associated with.

Fusing shoes like the Flyknit technology, Ultra Boost, Sock Dart, and the Rick Owens Adidas collaboration -- the designs adopt elements from each sneaker. The most high-profile reinterpretation is of the Kanye West collaboration; in fusing the Nike Air Yeezys with the Yeezy Boosts, and even sneaking in elements of the Nike Roshe Run, the artist creates a sneaker that would sell extremely well on the market.
