Event-Hosting Clothing Stores

Collective Facilitates the Aesthetic of a Hybrid Clothing Store

Architecture firm Collective has designed a new hybrid clothing store that is intended to host events. Titled 'ONS Clothing,' the retail location recognizes the value of experience and immersion in the contemporary context.

ONS Clothing is located at 201 Mulberry Street in New York. The interior is stylistically divided into two seperate spaces. While one exudes sophistication, with a plentitude of greenery and a minimalist wooden paneling in both the room and the display cases, elsewhere, Collective sought out to evoke the aesthetics of the urban streetscape by incorporating "steel railings, ceramic tiles, and asphalt flooring." A sculptural white case is revealed, with a dramatically draped pale green curtain.

The hybrid clothing store intends to host "culture events, such as exhibitions and pop-ups."
